WHAT WE HOLD, AND WHAT WE DO NOT

Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE 6 AUGUST 2026

1. Who we are

The Signal is operated by Lionbridge Advisory Pte Ltd (Singapore), trading as Angela Sedran.

Write to us at support@angelasedran.com. A person answers.

2. The short version

We ask you one question a day. Your answers, and anything you upload, become a private record of your business that we use to write your marketing. We send that material to AI providers to do the writing. We never publish anything without you approving it first. You can export everything and delete everything, at any time, without asking us.

That is the whole shape of it. The rest is detail.

3. What we collect

What you give us

  • Your website address, when you sign up
  • Your answers to the daily question — typed or spoken
  • Documents, photographs and screenshots you upload
  • Your settings: language, the time you want to be asked, how often you publish, what you are currently selling
  • Your name and email address
  • Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

What we build from that

  • Facts about your business. Every one records where it came from.
  • Entities — the people, clients and projects your answers mention
  • Drafts, images, and a record of what our Editor rejected and the reason
  • Your Marketing Dependency Index and its history

What we read, with your permission

  • Your public website
  • Your competitors' public pages — we record how their funnel is structured, never their words
  • Once you connect a channel: your own published posts and their engagement figures

What is collected automatically

  • Log data — IP address, browser, timestamps — kept for security and fault-finding

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels inside the app.

4. Voice recordings

If you use hold to speak, the speech-to-text happens inside your browser, using your device's own capability. The audio never reaches our servers. Only the resulting text is sent.

5. What we send to AI providers

Most policies bury this. We are putting it here, because it is the thing you would most want to know.

To write your marketing, we send your business facts, your answers and your settings to:

ProviderWhat we sendWhy
Anthropic (Claude)Your facts, answers, drafts, uploaded documents and imagesExtracting facts, writing, editing, analysis
OpenAIA written image description only, and only if you ask for a generated imageImage generation

Both are contractually bound not to train their models on data sent through their business APIs, and we do not opt into any training programme. Your business's material is not used to improve anyone's model.

We do not send them your name, your email address, or your payment details.

This list will change as the product does. We keep it current here, and we will tell you before adding anyone new who processes your business content.

7. Where your data goes

Most of our providers are in the United States. Where we move personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. For Australian customers, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. How long we keep things

Your BrainFor as long as your account is open
After you cancel30 days, then permanently deleted
If you delete it yourselfImmediately, including files in storage
Billing recordsSeven years, because tax law requires it
Logs90 days

The 30-day window after cancellation exists so that you can change your mind — not so that we can keep your data.

9. What you can do, whenever you like

Export everything. One button in Account. You get every fact with its source, every entity, every draft — including the ones our Editor killed and why — your images, and your whole history. It is a file you keep.

Delete everything. One button. It removes the database record and the stored files. It cannot be undone.

Correct anything. Every fact is visible in The Brain. If one is wrong, remove it, and the agents stop using it immediately.

Object, restrict, complain. If you are in the EEA or UK you have the full set of GDPR rights, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Australian customers may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

You do not need to email us to do any of this. Export and delete are buttons.

10. Other people's information

Your answers will sometimes mention clients, staff and suppliers. Two things follow from that.

We mark them. Every person we identify is stored with a consent setting, and the default is not public. Our Writer cannot name them unless you say so — it refers to them by their role instead.

You are responsible for what you tell us about other people. If you upload a client's email or describe a private conversation, please have the right to do so. If someone contacts us asking to be removed, we will get in touch with you.

11. Security

Encrypted in transit and at rest. Row-level security, so one customer's data is unreachable from another's. Channel tokens are stored separately from your account, so that a token leak cannot expose everything. Access to live systems is limited to those who need it.

No system is perfectly secure. If we suffer a breach that affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator within 72 hours.

12. Children

The Signal is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

13. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect.
